St. Albert, Alberta January 8th, 2010 – Today ToolHound made public their recent partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley Illinois.
Habitat for Humanity is a charitable organization with much of the labour performed on their construction projects provided by volunteers; while land, materials, and money being donated by individuals, organizations, and corporations. As a result of tight budgets they need to maintain close monitoring of their tools and equipment.
“Without the support of ToolHound we would not have been able to implement this type of inventory tracking system,” commented Bill Klaves, Development Director for Habitat for Humanity. “Once the solution is up and running we will not only significantly decrease productivity loss due to misplaced tools but we will save thousands in tool and equipment replacement costs over time.”
